A word from the president
Faced with our world's rapid development, which undoubtedly foretells the depletion of certain raw materials, it is impossible to fail to take environmental factors into account. We must learn to do things differently, to work and produce in a more virtuous manner, so we can continue to coexist.
This is why I have chosen to invest in the energy transition, industry, architecture and design sectors. I am confident that, by relying on a high level of quality and innovation, we will be able to rejuvenate France and export our expertise to international markets while keeping jobs within our borders.

Brugere, wood veneer: clothe your walls in natural beauty
clothe your walls in natural beauty
Are you in the market for a wood veneer wall? Contact our wood peeling specialists, who have developed a unique beechwood veneer and peeling system.
In collaboration with Arts et Métiers researchers, the research and development office, known as Bopli, carries out work with two main focuses:
- To improve veneer quality and master the primary processing process for beechwood.
- To master the secondary processing process: the manufacture of panels and plywood and product innovations.
This new development in France is expected to lead to more widespread use of beechwood in interior design, especially since Manufactures Février has fully followed through on the project by investing 20 million euros in a Raute peeling line that can peel logs 3.3 m in length.
The only French manufacturer specializing in custom panelling, this line, the largest in Europe, enables Brugère to create all kinds of decorative panels from any type of wood, and more specifically to manufacture beech plywood panels in all sizes and qualities:
- Maximum length 2,630 mm
- Maximum width 1,630 mm
- Thickness between 6 and 60 mm
Brugère quality guarantees that veneers will be uniform in colour, with no open defects and no more than one sound knot per square metre.
Unique expertise and a Made in France process to clothe walls in natural beauty using PEFC-labelled wood.
Thomas Watt Lighting Pro, LED lighting: quality and visual comfort
Thomas Watt Lighting Pro, LED lighting
With Thomas Watt lighting solutions, discover light fixtures that produce diffuse light and provide optimized illumination. Whether for workspaces, hotels, airports or public spaces such as museums or shops, lighting is essential. Not only does it showcase spaces, works and products, but it also improves users' working conditions and visual comfort, especially for precision work, such as in laboratories.
More than just aesthetically pleasing, LED ceiling lighting can be made to measure, and can be adapted to all sizes and heights: as wall fixtures, recessed lighting or pendant lamps, it can meet all needs.
Another advantage of Thomas Watt LED lighting is its energy efficiency. When connected, the light level can be adjusted based on real-time need: ambient or pathway lighting. Equipped with a counting sensor, the light fixture counts how many people are present and provides real-time information on the exact way the building is being used.
Light level adjustments are instantaneous, simple and practical, as they can be controlled via a computer or smartphone.
Our LED ceiling fixtures are a perfect blend of Made in France industry and design.
Tecsom textile floor coverings: design in the form of carpet tiles or rolls
Design in the form of carpet tiles or rolls
With the digital printing techniques developed by TecSOM, the creative and design possibilities are endless! Our graphic designers have almost no limits in creating our carpet rolls and tiles: they use carpet as a medium of expression, combining and overlapping colours and patterns.
Graphic and designer textile floor coverings offer up a new architectural dimension for tertiary and residential spaces by dialling up the style.
A way to showcase your decor, our printed carpets can coordinate with fixtures and furniture, breathing life into a space and giving it a whole new look.
The colours are bolder, and the on-trend patterns are regularly refreshed.
Jungle style for a natural ambiance, stripes or squares for a high-design ambiance, complex floral motifs... digital printing makes it possible for us to create on-demand and custom products.
The different loop heights available for certain tile and roll models add texture and structure to a space. Needle punched, looped, structured or velvet textures can be combined for flooring that captures light thanks to its three-dimensional appearance.
THOMAS WATT INDUSTRIE: photometric studies and custom industrial led lighting solutions
Thomas Watt Industrie
photometric studies and custom industrial led lighting solutions
Photometric analysis and studies are necessary first steps in ensuring the performance of an industrial lighting solution. They primarily involve measuring light radiation as it is experienced by human vision and thereby assessing the quantitative study of the transmission of this radiation according to how well it meets the needs of users or their advisers.
Subject to the requirements set by the various standards and recommendations produced by different industrial sectors, Thomas Watt Industrie photometric studies measure the luminance or continuous illumination in a zone over a given period, in order to produce a comprehensive, detailed analysis of photometric performance according to the methodology defined by the standards in the relevant industry.
Appropriate lighting for each work zone
To guarantee a high level of performance for industrial LED lighting, Thomas Watt Industrie's engineers analyse the results of the photometric study to determine the light most suitable for each work zone, while also estimating the energy efficiency level of the light fixtures, their light quality and the appropriate fixture type.
With this goal in mind, Thomas Watt Industrie experts study the strength of the electromagnetic radiation, assigning the strength of each wavelength to a spectral luminous efficiency function that statistically reflects human perception of light. Our photometric measurement tools are equipped with optical filters that perform this assessment to the nearest lux.
In the wine industry, the "taste of light" is a defect, still poorly understood, that can affect sensitive wines such as champagnes (for which the VALENTIN factory provides solutions, from disgorging to bottling). With Thomas Watt Industrie, our teams have worked hand in hand with champagne houses to offer LED solutions to cellar managers and their teams that prevent this organoleptic defect from occurring.
The Thomas Watt Industrie LED fixtures specially developed for champagne cellars have earned a qualification awarded by the Comité Interprofessionnel du Vin de Champagne.
Whether it is used in production zones, storage and/or loading areas, office spaces or reception rooms, effective lighting offers savings, efficiency, productivity and safety.
